Ahhhhhhh. Why do I love these books they are so silly, but I do:This was different in style then most of her others. Most of it taking place in present day England. You get to know the characters a lot before they meet but I enjoyed all of it. These characters are very distantly related to the first McLeod's and DePiget's and it is best to start at the beginning of all these books and just enjoyed the journey, but you could read this all by itself and only be lost a couple of times. I was super excited to download and read Come Away With Me by Kristen Proby. I bought it the first day it came out and got right to reading. First off, how freakin' perfect is Luke? I think he gets the award for the "Perfect Guy Award". He cooks, rubs feet, has the stamina for sex multiple times a day, rich, famous, lives in a beautiful home on the beach, and has a wonderful family, oh and does the most romantic things EVER! Sometimes he was just too perfect... I just need some more drama for my romance novels but none the less he is like the perfect guy.

Natalie who claims she only had sex with guys, never a relationship sure fell fast and hard for Luke after meeting him. There is absolutely no build-up for these two before getting together which was disappointing because I prefer a big build-up which makes it more believable and fun to read. I will say the love scenes were very hot and steamy and will not disappoint you! Wowzers!

Wanted so badly to give it 5 stars...
Having fallen in love with Jamie McGuire's "Beautiful Disaster" and "Providence" and becoming obsessed with E.L James' Shades of Grey Trilogy, I went into S.C Stephens with incredible excitement. There is nothing better then wonderfully written characters who are finding themselves and eachother through a series of passionate encounters (whether it be sex or argument). Thoughtless certainly did NOT dissapoint!

Stephens wrote characters both main and supporting that were fun and lovable..passionate and likable. I found myself volleying back and forth between who I wanted our heroine (Kiera) to choose in the all inmportant love triangle between her, Denny, and Kellen. I truelly wanted too befriend each and every band member and bar employee. I loved the way both Denny and Kellen not only showed their love for Kiera but they grew from the experience and became stronger men from the experience....

Mile High is just as brilliant as In Flight but was doused with more passion than the first. Lilley lets you get to know the characters more in this book; their background, their growing feelings for each other, and just how deep that possessive streak runs...for both of them (which I loved.) I loved the fact that with every scene, our duo grows stronger together. Their love is slowly building; they are opening up to each other more. I started seeing them more as a couple than an agreement that was made in the first book. There is a more sweeter, romantic side to James that made my heart pitter-patter and Bianca is finally realizing her heart can actually love.

I enjoyed the side story of Stephan in this book. He is a great character and Lilley was able to bring him in more as a detailed character with his new love life. It gives me hope that maybe (cross your fingers) this series might have a happy ending for everyone.

Wonderful Series!
Awesome ending to an awesome series! I loved all 3 “Up In The Air” books and I highly recommend them to anyone that's a FSOG or BTY fan! Grounded is a wonderful conclusion to this series and soooo very satisfying.

James and Bianca are amazing characters and I could read about them forever, but I especially loved the secondary characters as well. The friendship and love between Bianca and Stephan is one of the best supporting relationships I've ever read. Some authors try to have a BFF intermixed in the story line somewhere and it mostly seems unauthentic, but Ms. Lilley superbly creates a friendship and devotion between Bianca and Stephan that is sweet and heartbreaking and really adds depth to the books overall.

I can't wait to read Tristan and Lana’s stories (hopefully soon) and check in on Mr. Beautiful and Buttercup too! :)

OK, but not my favorite Gist book.
So I just finished the book today and am a bit underwhelmed ...but let me explain: there were definite, sweet moments in the book I really enjoyed, but in between those moments I found myself somewhat bored*forgive me*. I own and have read all of Deeane's other books and thoroughly enjoyed them all (I think A Bride in the Bargain or Maid to Match are my favorites of hers though) and for some reason this just didn't measure up the same for me. I used to be a huge Laurens fan and I have read all of her books at least once and many multiple times. Her novels were always so strong: she's a great wordsmith, can pull you into Regency life like no other, can elicit wonderful emotion and she used to draw great characters. However, her last several books have lost their dramatic tension and her characters have devolved into the same old characters in every other romance novel.

One reason there is no dramatic tension in her latest novel is that there is no real conflict between the protagonists. In Then She Fell, the characters both want to marry; they find each other attractive and respect each other. Nothing to keep them apart except for their fear of admitting their feelings to each other. Junior high stuff. In fact, Laurens can't stretch the "boy-chases-girl, boy-gets-girl" part longer than the first half of the novel.
